  • • Manage and grow a portfolio of SME clients within the Digital & Tech sector, developing deep insights into their financial and payment needs to drive retention and expansion.
  • • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, building trusted, long-term relationships that position Airwallex as their partner of choice for global financial operations.
  • • Identify and pursue upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding client workflows and aligning them with Airwallex’s full suite of products including business accounts, payments, spend management, and embedded finance.
  • • Educate clients on the full capabilities of the Airwallex platform to maximize adoption, usage, and wallet share, ensuring they realize maximum value from the solutions provided.
  • • Serve as the internal champion for customer needs, gathering and translating client feedback into actionable insights for product, operations, marketing, and strategy teams.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, product, and operations to resolve complex client issues, streamline onboarding, and improve overall customer experience.
  • • Leverage data and market intelligence to anticipate industry trends and proactively advise clients on how to optimize their financial infrastructure for growth.
  • • Advocate for Airwallex within the SME Digital & Tech ecosystem by delivering high-touch, consultative service that reinforces brand trust and loyalty.
  • • Maintain accurate client records and activity logs using CRM and internal tools to track engagement, opportunities, and outcomes.
  • • Work closely with commercial leadership and strategy teams to provide on-the-ground market intelligence that informs business growth initiatives and product development.
  • • Drive client activation by leveraging software tools to automate outreach, monitor usage patterns, and identify engagement gaps.
  • • Demonstrate resilience and initiative in achieving revenue targets and KPIs through consistent client engagement and proactive account growth strategies.
  • • Adapt quickly to evolving product offerings and market conditions, maintaining expertise in fintech solutions and SME financial pain points.
  • • Communicate clearly and persuasively in English, both verbally and in writing, to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders.
  • • Embrace a founder-like mindset, taking ownership of outcomes, solving problems from first principles, and operating with speed and rigor.
  • • Utilize AI tools and digital platforms to enhance productivity, personalize client interactions, and scale customer success efforts effectively.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 7+ years of experience in account management with a proven track record of driving revenue growth from existing accounts
  • • Demonstrated experience in start-up or fintech environments
  • • Strong sales mindset with a focus on achieving KPIs and expanding client wallet share
  • • Confident in direct customer engagement and consultative selling
  • • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • • Ability to build collaborative relationships across internal teams and with external clients
