  • • The Account Manager Special Care role is a field-based position responsible for driving growth and building relationships with specialist physicians in neurology, gastroenterology, and pain management across Hannover, Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, and Hameln. This role contributes directly to Viatris’ mission of empowering people to live healthier by ensuring access to high-quality medicines and supporting optimal patient care through scientific engagement and compliance-driven interactions.
  • • Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and executing indication-specific medical visits with specialists, achieving sales and growth targets, identifying and strategically managing key customer groups, building relationships with regional and national opinion leaders, analyzing and influencing prescribing networks, providing evidence-based product and therapy consultations, implementing local marketing and sales strategies, supporting therapy initiations and switches, documenting all activities in CRM (Veeva/Salesforce), reporting adverse events within 24 hours, and positioning Viatris as a scientifically credible partner in specialist care.

šŸŽÆ Requirements

  • • Several years of field experience in prescription pharmaceutical (Rx) sales, ideally in specialist physician field
  • • Authorization as a pharmaceutical representative under § 75 AMG (German Medicines Act)
  • • Valid Class B driver’s license and residence within the assigned territory (Hannover, Celle, Braunschweig, Wolfsburg, Hameln)
  • • Strong knowledge of pharmacology in relevant therapy areas (currently neurology, gastroenterology)
  • • Proven ability in customer orientation, stakeholder management, and building long-term relationships
  • • Analytical and entrepreneurial mindset with ability to interpret regional market and healthcare data
