- • As the first Accounting & Finance Manager at F2 AI Inc., you will build and scale the finance function from the ground up, owning core accounting operations while partnering with leadership on broader finance workflows, systems, and processes.
- • You will manage general accounting, payroll, 401K administration, stock administration, fixed assets, accounts payable and receivable, lead the monthly close process, maintain the general ledger under GAAP, prepare financial statements with flux analysis, reconcile high-risk accounts, and manage external accountants, auditors, and tax providers.
- • You will own day-to-day finance workflows including AP/AR processes, invoicing, collections, vendor payments, improve billing and expense management, ensure financial controls and data reliability, and support budgeting, FP&A, and ad hoc projects with the Head of Finance.
- • You will partner with the Head of Finance to design and implement scalable finance systems and workflows, evaluate and implement tools across accounting and billing, drive process improvements in close and reporting, serve as a business partner to leadership, and coordinate audit and tax activities including sales, property, and income tax filings, risk management, and state regulatory compliance.
- • You will assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning, support ad hoc analysis for leadership on pricing, unit economics, and spend efficiency, and collaborate cross-functionally to provide financial insights for decision-making.
- • You will have the opportunity to grow into accounting leadership (e.g., Accounting Manager/Controller) or broader finance leadership (e.g., FP&A/Finance Lead) based on your interests and strengths.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–7 years of experience in accounting, finance, or related roles
- • Strong foundation in accounting (GAAP, month-end close, financial statements)
- • Comfortable owning A/P, A/R, and operational finance workflows end-to-end
- • Systems-oriented mindset — enjoys improving processes, not just running them
- • Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous startup environment
- • Strong attention to detail with the ability to think strategically
