- • Lead and execute monthly, quarterly, and annual close activities, including regulatory reporting and state filing deadlines.
- • Create and implement enhanced financial reporting processes to improve operational efficiency and accuracy across accounting functions.
- • Identify, evaluate, and implement accounting software solutions tailored to Injective’s needs, including ERP and accounting systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, or Sage.
- • Maintain the accuracy and integrity of core accounting functions: accounts payable, general ledger, payroll, fixed assets, and investments.
- • Reconcile bank accounts, crypto wallets, and corporate card accounts to ensure financial data integrity.
- • Assist with the review of U.S. and international payroll processing, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations.
- • Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and variance analyses to validate the accuracy of financial statements.
- • Support year-end audit activities and coordinate directly with external auditors to facilitate smooth audit execution.
- • Prepare and manage annual corporate tax filings for U.S. operations, working closely with external tax advisors.
- • Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and regulatory standards.
- • Partner with external tax advisors, auditors, and third-party service providers to align financial reporting with company objectives.
- • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning initiatives across the organization.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design scalable financial reporting solutions for existing and new business initiatives.
- • Ensure all accounting activities adhere to applicable accounting standards and regulatory requirements.
- • Maintain meticulous attention to detail while managing multiple deadlines in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- • Demonstrate strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively under pressure.
- • Actively seek opportunities to improve processes, reduce manual work, and increase automation in accounting workflows.
- • Contribute to a collaborative, driven, and professional team culture focused on innovation and accountability.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- • CPA license preferred
- • 5+ years’ experience in Accounting, Audit, and/or Tax
- • Prior experience working in the crypto industry highly preferred
- • Experience with crypto accounting, including digital asset transactions, wallet reconciliations, and token-related activity
- • Experience with ERP and accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, Xero, Sage, etc.)
