  • • As the Accounting Manager, you will be instrumental in overseeing critical accounting functions, ensuring the accuracy, timeliness, and integrity of the company's financial records. Your responsibilities will span the entire accounting lifecycle, from managing month-end and year-end close processes to maintaining the general ledger and developing robust internal controls.
  • • You will be entrusted with the day-to-day operations of the accounting department, with a specific focus on one or more key areas such as inventory, accounts receivable, accounts payable, fixed assets, or rebate accounting. This includes ensuring all corresponding activities are meticulously managed and that proper internal controls are consistently upheld.
  • • This role offers significant visibility, requiring interaction with various departments across the organization and presenting opportunities to engage with senior leadership. You will provide essential financial support and insights to management, enabling informed decision-making.
  • • A core aspect of your role will be to lead and manage an effective, timely, and efficient monthly close process. This involves coordinating the activities of your team, ensuring the accuracy and completion of balance sheet reconciliations, and contributing to the preparation of financial statements in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • • You will also play a crucial part in supporting the annual external financial audit process, collaborating with auditors and ensuring all necessary documentation and information are readily available. Furthermore, you will be responsible for reviewing, evaluating, and creating proper internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance.
  • • The Accounting Manager will oversee the financial activities related to specific functions such as accounts receivable, accounts payable, inventory, or rebate functions, ensuring operational efficiency and financial accuracy within these domains.
  • • A key responsibility is to ensure strict compliance with US GAAP and corporate policies across all accounting activities, including the accurate and timely recording of journal entries.
  • • You will be expected to provide comprehensive, accurate, timely, and relevant financial analysis and reporting to Prime management, translating complex financial data into actionable insights.
  • • Leading, coaching, and managing team members is paramount. You will be responsible for coordinating workloads, ensuring the quality of work, establishing clear procedures, meeting client and customer expectations, and managing the costs associated with the services provided by your team.
  • • This role demands a proactive approach to process improvement and a commitment to fostering a high-performing team environment. You will have the opportunity to mentor and develop staff, driving continuous improvement in accounting operations.
