- • Administer detailed pension casework for Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes, including processing Change of Address, Name, Gone Aways, Outstanding Premium Letters, Valuations, Quotations, Projections, General Policy Details, Amendments/Corrections, Wake-up Packs, Ad-hoc Packs, and Record Mismatch/Suspense Corrections.
- • Respond to member queries across multiple communication channels within agreed Service Level Agreement (SLA) targets, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions.
- • Deliver high-standard customer service via inbound and outbound phone calls, handling complex pension-related inquiries professionally and with attention to detail.
- • Adhere strictly to Capita’s Quality Management Systems and comply with all relevant regulatory requirements and internal policies.
- • Identify, document, and report risks, complaints, and compliance breaches immediately to line management or the Operational Risk & Compliance department.
- • Perform manual pension calculations with precision, verifying accuracy and ensuring full regulatory compliance.
- • Utilize Microsoft Excel extensively for data management, administrative tasks, and reporting, maintaining high standards of data integrity.
- • Maintain strong focus on accuracy and deliver work "right first time," minimizing errors and rework in a high-volume, detail-oriented environment.
- • Prioritize workload effectively under pressure to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple concurrent casework tasks.
- • Actively participate in personal and performance development by completing mandatory e-learning and training courses to enhance pensions knowledge and system proficiency.
- • Collaborate with team members to support collective goals, share best practices, and contribute positively to team dynamics and performance.
- • Work a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, in a home-based role supporting an account scheduled to transfer to a new provider under TUPE in October 2026.
- • Ensure all administrative activities align with Capita Pension Solutions’ standards for service delivery, data security, and member communication.

- • Proven experience in pension administration casework, with strong working knowledge of Defined Benefit (DB) pension schemes.
- • Experience performing and verifying manual pension calculations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- • Experience using Microsoft Excel for data management and administrative tasks.
- • Excellent numeracy and data-entry skills, with a strong focus on accuracy, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering work "right first time."
- • Ability to work effectively under pressure, prioritise workload, and meet tight deadlines.
- • A collaborative team player with the ability to coach, support, and positively contribute to the wider team.
