• • As an Accounting Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the financial backbone of our rapidly expanding, multi-platform business. This position is crucial for ensuring the seamless operation of our accounting and tax processes, allowing us to scale effectively while maintaining financial integrity.
• • You will work in close collaboration with our experienced Accounting Manager, with ample opportunities to deepen your expertise and gradually assume greater autonomy as you become proficient in our established workflows. • • Your core responsibilities will encompass the meticulous day-to-day bookkeeping activities. This includes the accurate recording of all financial transactions, performing thorough bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy, providing essential support for accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) functions, and meticulously preparing documentation and data required for audits and the critical monthly closing process.
• • You will be instrumental in maintaining the integrity and accuracy of our accounting records and supporting documentation. Your diligence will be key in ensuring that all month-end closing procedures are completed punctually and that all tax-related submissions are filed on time, working in lockstep with the Accounting Manager.
• • Beyond core bookkeeping, you will take direct ownership of our expense management tool. This involves overseeing and supporting approval workflows, ensuring strict adherence to accuracy, compliance with company policies, and maintaining comprehensive documentation for all expenses.
• • A significant part of your role will involve collaborating closely with budget owners across the company. You will be responsible for collecting necessary financial information, providing clear and concise answers to their accounting-related queries, and validating the accurate allocation of expenses across different departments and projects.
• • You will actively assist in managing our international accounting and tax workflows. This includes preparing essential data sets, performing detailed reconciliations, and gathering supporting documentation to ensure compliance and accuracy in our global financial operations.

This involves preparing accurate data sets for reporting purposes, maintaining an organized and accessible system for all financial documentation, and assisting with the utilization of basic Business Intelligence (BI) tools, such as Power BI or Looker, to extract and present financial insights.
