Full Job Description
📋 Description
- • Embark on a pivotal role as an Accounting Specialist (AP/AR) with Hangar Aviation Technologies, Inc., a company dedicated to connecting exceptional talent with leading global businesses. This remote position offers a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the financial operations of a dynamic cosmetic and healthcare products company, demanding precision, efficiency, and a deep understanding of transactional accounting.
- • As an integral part of the finance team, you will be entrusted with the comprehensive management of both Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) functions. This involves meticulously processing invoices, managing vendor payments, and ensuring timely collection of customer payments, all within the robust framework of QuickBooks Online (QBO).
- • A core responsibility will be the diligent reconciliation of transactions between the company's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system and QuickBooks Online. This critical task ensures the integrity and accuracy of financial data, providing a solid foundation for all financial reporting and decision-making processes. Your ability to identify and resolve discrepancies between these systems will be paramount to maintaining clean and reliable financial records.
- • You will play a key role in the customer billing cycle, responsible for generating and issuing accurate customer invoices. Proactive monitoring of accounts receivable aging reports will be essential to identify potential issues and implement strategies for timely payment collection. This includes direct communication with customers to address any billing inquiries or resolve payment discrepancies, requiring a professional and customer-centric approach.
- • Beyond daily transactional duties, you will contribute to the month-end close process. This involves performing necessary reconciliations, assisting with journal entries, and supporting the preparation of basic financial reports. Your attention to detail and understanding of accounting principles will be vital in ensuring a smooth and accurate closing period.
- • Maintaining accurate and organized documentation is a non-negotiable aspect of this role, especially given the regulated nature of the cosmetic and healthcare industries. You will be responsible for ensuring that all financial records and supporting documents are maintained in compliance with relevant industry standards and internal policies.
- • This position is ideal for an individual who thrives in a high-volume transactional environment and possesses a strong aptitude for problem-solving. You will be expected to manage multiple priorities effectively while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
- • The role demands excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, enabling clear and concise interactions with both internal stakeholders and external clients and vendors. Your ability to articulate financial information and resolve issues efficiently will be highly valued.
- • Working remotely, you will leverage a suite of collaboration tools such as Slack, Zoom, and Google Workspace to stay connected and productive. Experience with these platforms and a proven track record of successful remote work, particularly with US or UK-based companies, are essential for success in this role.
- • This is an opportunity to build a long-term career with a company that values its remote workforce and offers opportunities for professional growth. By joining Hangar Aviation Technologies, you are not just taking on a job; you are becoming part of a network that supports your career development while working with exciting, fast-growing global companies.
