- • Support accounting operations for a U.S.-based flooring and remodeling company by managing financial data and administrative tasks within Odoo ERP.
- • Maintain, update, and audit records in Odoo to ensure accuracy of accounting entries, customer information, invoicing data, and operational workflows.
- • Assist with daily bookkeeping tasks including invoicing, payment tracking, reconciliation of financial records, and documentation of accounting transactions.
- • Organize and maintain digital financial and operational documentation to ensure compliance, audit readiness, and easy retrieval by leadership.
- • Generate routine and ad-hoc reports from Odoo to provide visibility into financial performance, pending tasks, and operational bottlenecks.
- • Track internal workflows and pending accounting actions, ensuring timely follow-up and resolution of outstanding items.
- • Collaborate with leadership to align accounting processes with business goals and improve internal coordination across departments.
- • Identify inefficiencies in current accounting and operational systems and propose actionable improvements to enhance workflow automation and data integrity.
- • Support the optimization of Odoo ERP configurations to better align with the company’s accounting, customer management, and workflow tracking needs.
- • Use tools such as QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Excel, and CRM systems to supplement Odoo data management and reporting.
- • Work exclusively during U.S. business hours (9 AM – 5 PM EST) to ensure seamless communication and alignment with U.S.-based clients and leadership.
- • Operate independently with high attention to detail, proactively identifying errors, inconsistencies, or delays in financial and operational data.
- • Ensure all accounting support activities contribute to scalable, repeatable, and transparent business processes as the company grows.
- • Participate in process improvement initiatives aimed at reducing manual work, increasing system accuracy, and improving financial reporting speed.
- • Serve as a key operational link between accounting functions and broader business systems, helping to bridge gaps between finance and operations.
🎯 Requirements
- • 2+ years of experience in accounting support, bookkeeping, ERP administration, or operational support roles
- • Experience with Odoo or similar ERP systems strongly preferred
- • Strong organizational and analytical skills with high attention to detail
- • Comfortable working with operational systems and reporting tools such as Odoo, QuickBooks, Google Sheets, Excel, and CRM systems
- • Ability to work independently and proactively during U.S. business hours (9 AM – 5 PM EST)
- • Strong written and verbal communication skills
