- • Demonstrate General Motors' Core Values and Cultural Priorities in all interactions and business practices.
- • Develop and direct assigned Outside and Inside Sales Representatives to achieve territorial sales objectives.
- • Collaborate constructively with the Wholesale Market Area Manager to align regional strategies and execution.
- • Attain and exceed assigned sales targets through aggressive solicitation of orders at the Direct Account level.
- • Establish and maintain optimal ACDelco inventory levels to support sales volume and market demand in Northern California.
- • Drive line additions and changeovers using LEEP and stocklift budgets to maximize product participation and sales incentives.
- • Assist in the marketing and promotion of ACDelco products and programs at both Direct and National Accounts.
- • Develop and grow Independent Aftermarket sales opportunities, including Fleet accounts, to expand market penetration.
- • Prospect for new distribution opportunities across all levels to increase ACDelco’s presence in the Western Region.
- • Enhance engagement and performance of Direct Account Outside and Inside Sales Representatives (OSR & ISR).
- • Coordinate with Direct Accounts to create and implement localized, market-specific promotions using allocated marketing budgets.
- • Sell and promote national, regional, and local ACDelco sales programs to drive revenue growth.
- • Ensure Direct Accounts comply with all ACDelco policies, procedures, and operational standards.
- • Complete timely weekly updates, administrative tasks, special assignments, and competitive market intelligence reports.
- • Provide actionable market input to support forecasting, business planning, and strategic decision-making.
- • Gather and synthesize feedback from internal and external customers to better understand needs and perceptions.
- • Maintain accurate, up-to-date customer profiles and records in accordance with company systems and protocols.
- • Attend industry conventions, trade shows, and special events as required to represent ACDelco and build relationships.
- • Support customer training activities to ensure proper product knowledge and sales execution.
- • Stay current on product developments, industry trends, and competitive offerings to inform sales strategies.
- • Maintain strong, effective relationships with ACDelco Product Distribution Centers (PDCs).
- • Monitor warranty reduction initiatives and material returns/core credit activities, acting as a liaison between customers and ACDelco to resolve issues.
- • Travel up to 75% of the time to conduct territory visits to dealerships and direct accounts across Northern California.
- • Operate a motor vehicle regularly and maintain a clean Motor Vehicle Report as a condition of employment.
- • Must reside in or relocate to Sacramento, Fairfield, Oakland, or San Francisco area within the assigned territory.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience
- • 3+ years of automotive aftermarket experience preferred
- • Proven outside sales experience
- • Ability to travel up to 75% of the time
- • Knowledge of GM parts systems
- • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
