- • As an Acquisition Account Executive at Pluralsight, you will be instrumental in driving revenue expansion within your assigned region. This pivotal role focuses on ensuring significant revenue growth, fostering exceptional customer success, and cultivating enduring partnerships with a portfolio of assigned customers. You will act as a central point of contact, orchestrating the efforts of a dedicated extended account team, which includes solution engineers, business development representatives, and customer success managers. Your strategic guidance will be crucial in defining the optimal 'plan of attack' for each account, enhancing operational efficiencies, and formulating winning tactics and strategies to achieve ambitious revenue targets and deepen customer relationships.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will encompass the entire sales cycle, from initial lead generation through to the final contract signature. You will be expected to consistently meet and exceed ambitious revenue targets by proactively sourcing, developing, and meticulously managing your own pipeline of high-value opportunities, ensuring a steady and robust flow of qualified deals. A key aspect of this role involves strategically engaging with C-level executives and other senior decision-makers within client organizations. You will be tasked with deeply understanding their top business priorities and demonstrating how Pluralsight's solutions can deliver clear, measurable business impact and value. To achieve this, you will develop and execute a comprehensive territory plan that is meticulously aligned with the overarching corporate strategy, with the explicit goal of improving revenue growth within your designated area. You will be expected to leverage sophisticated sales methodologies, such as Solution-Selling, Challenger Sale, or Value Selling, to drive high-impact engagements and significantly accelerate deal velocity through the sales funnel. Effective cross-functional collaboration is paramount; you will work closely with internal teams, including solution engineers, business development representatives, and customer success managers, to ensure a seamless and positive customer experience throughout their journey and to identify opportunities for account expansion. Maintaining rigorous pipeline discipline, ensuring high forecast accuracy, and upholding sales process excellence are critical, providing full visibility into deal progression and key success metrics. Ultimately, you will be accountable for consistently generating pipeline revenue that contributes directly to the company's financial objectives.
