- • Own and drive a robust pipeline of high-potential digital creators, guiding them from first hello to successful launch on Patreon’s membership platform. You will be the primary relationship owner for hundreds of prospects each quarter, using consultative selling to uncover each creator’s goals, audience profile, and revenue opportunity, then prescribing the exact Patreon product mix—paid memberships, free memberships, community chats, live experiences, or one-time purchases—that will unlock sustainable income.
- • Leverage your existing network and build new ones daily to surface warm introductions to top-tier podcasters, YouTubers, streamers, newsletter authors, and other digital-first talent. You will map the creator economy ecosystem, maintain a living database of decision-makers, and creatively secure first meetings through referrals, social engagement, conference attendance, and outbound sequences that feel personal and value-driven.
- • Design and execute sequenced, data-driven email campaigns that average 50–75 sends per day, iterating on subject lines, value props, and call-to-action placement to achieve industry-leading open and reply rates. You will A/B test messaging across verticals, monitor conversion metrics in real time, and share winning templates with the broader Creator Acquisition team.
- • Lead high-stakes discovery and pitch calls with creators and their business managers, demonstrating deep subject-matter expertise in subscription economics, churn reduction, and community monetization. You will run live product demos, build bespoke financial models that project monthly recurring revenue, and negotiate launch timelines that align with each creator’s content calendar.
- • Manage a CRM (Salesforce or similar) with fanatical attention to detail—logging every touchpoint, updating stage probabilities, and producing weekly pipeline reports that forecast bookings 90 days out. You will partner with Data Science to surface funnel insights and recommend process improvements that increase win rates and shorten sales cycles.
- • Serve as the voice of the emerging creator economy inside Patreon, synthesizing TikTok trends, podcast CPM shifts, platform policy changes, and new monetization formats into actionable lead lists. You will present findings in monthly “Creator Radar” sessions to Marketing, Product, and Leadership, influencing roadmap priorities and campaign targeting.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with Legal to structure compliant partnership terms, with Finance to model revenue share scenarios, and with Marketing to co-create launch-day assets that maximize early fan adoption. Your deal desk contributions will ensure every contract balances creator upside with Patreon’s long-term economics.
- • Champion Patreon’s mission—“fund the creative class”—in every interaction, embodying core values of Put Creators First, Build with Craft, Make it Happen, and Win Together. You will mentor junior teammates, contribute to playbooks, and celebrate creator wins loudly across Slack and company all-hands.
🎯 Requirements
- • 4–5 years of hands-on experience in creator monetization, partnerships, or business development within the digital media, podcast, or social video landscape
- • Demonstrated success closing revenue-generating deals with creators or talent representatives; CRM hygiene and pipeline management at scale are second nature
- • Deep fluency in subscription business models, churn metrics, LTV calculations, and platform-specific monetization (YouTube AdSense, podcast CPMs, TikTok Creator Fund, etc.)
- • Extraordinary organizational and multitasking skills—comfortable owning 150+ concurrent prospects while maintaining meticulous follow-up
- • Preferred: direct track record working with top-tier podcast or YouTube creators, plus an active Rolodex of agents, managers, and multi-channel network executives
