We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Manager, Enterprise Business Development to lead and cultivate our Business Development Representative (BDR) team across the Asia-Pacific (APAC) region.
  • • This pivotal role is deeply focused on nurturing talent, driving enablement, providing expert coaching, and building a high-performing outbound sales organization. You will be instrumental in elevating BDR capabilities through structured development programs, consistent skill enhancement, and a commitment to operational excellence.
  • • As the APAC BDR Manager, you will be responsible for guiding a team of BDRs, fostering their growth, and ensuring they meet and exceed pipeline creation targets. Your leadership will directly impact Fivetran's expansion and success within the vibrant APAC market.
  • • You will play a crucial role in developing and executing comprehensive enablement programs. This includes designing and delivering effective onboarding for new BDRs, equipping them with robust objection-handling techniques, establishing clear outbound frameworks, and ensuring mastery of essential workflows.
  • • A significant part of your role will involve coaching world-class discovery practices. This encompasses training on qualification frameworks, honing questioning techniques to uncover customer needs, and instilling the fundamentals of multi-threading within complex organizations.
  • • You will conduct regular one-on-one meetings, meticulously review calls, facilitate role-playing sessions, and perform thorough performance reviews to drive continuous improvement and maintain high standards within the team.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Global Enablement teams to refine regional outbound strategies, ensuring alignment on messaging and go-to-market approaches tailored for APAC markets.
  • • You will be tasked with building scalable playbooks and prospecting sequences that are specifically designed to resonate with the unique characteristics and opportunities within various APAC markets.
  • • A core responsibility will be the recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing development of top-tier BDR talent, ensuring a strong pipeline of skilled professionals within the team.
  • • You will be a champion for the adoption of new tools, technologies, and data-driven techniques, continuously seeking ways to elevate BDR efficiency, effectiveness, and overall performance.
  • • As part of our commitment to setting new hires up for success, all new sales team members attend a one-week, in-person Revenue Bootcamp during their second week at Fivetran. This bootcamp, held at one of our designated company locations, requires travel and is a mandatory part of the onboarding process, ensuring a strong foundation for all team members.
  • • The technologies you'll leverage in this role include Salesforce, Outreach, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Amplemarket, Demandbase, ZoomInfo, Looker, and Gong, providing a robust toolkit for sales development and analysis.
  • • This is a full-time, hybrid position based in our Sydney, Australia office. Our hybrid work model balances remote flexibility with essential in-person collaboration, requiring two days per week in the office to foster team connection and synergy.
  • • You will drive pipeline creation targets through strong leadership, consistent motivation, and a structured coaching cadence, ensuring the team's efforts are aligned with company objectives.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1-2 years of experience managing Business Development Representative (BDR) or Sales Development Representative (SDR) teams, preferably within the SaaS/B2B tech industry.
  • • Proven track record in outbound sales development with consistent overachievement of targets.
  • • Strong passion for coaching and developing early-career sales professionals, with expertise in discovery, outbound strategy, and objection handling.
  • • Data-driven approach with strong proficiency in Salesforce and sales engagement tools (e.g., Outreach, SalesLoft).
  • • High learning aptitude and a proactive eagerness to embrace new technologies, processes, and go-to-market innovations.
  • • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to thrive in fast-moving, collaborative environments.
