- • Provide complex administrative support to the Executive Director, Directors, and other staff within the Oncology division at Amgen.
- • Manage multiple intricate calendars by scheduling and coordinating virtual and in-person meetings across various global time zones.
- • Arrange all travel logistics including flights, accommodations, and ground transportation, ensuring timely and compliant bookings.
- • Prepare and submit accurate expense reports in a timely manner using company systems.
- • Assist with the preparation of presentations, meeting agendas, and supporting documentation for leadership meetings.
- • Maintain and update departmental email distribution lists to ensure proper communication flow.
- • Take detailed action items during meetings and follow up to ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
- • Support special projects as assigned, adapting priorities to meet evolving business needs.
- • Utilize Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint to manage communications, data, and presentations with precision.
- • Operate internal tools including MyBuy, WebEx, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Concur to facilitate administrative workflows.
- • Exercise discretion when handling confidential and proprietary information related to oncology research, personnel, and operations.
- • Anticipate logistical challenges and proactively develop solutions in a fast-paced, results-driven environment.
- • Maintain a calm, solution-oriented demeanor under pressure while delivering high-quality administrative support.
- • Collaborate effectively as a team player with a helpful, polite, and professional attitude.
- • Ensure all administrative processes align with Amgen’s standards for compliance, efficiency, and patient-centered mission.
🎯 Requirements
- • Associate’s degree and 2 years of administrative experience OR 2 years in a technical school setting with hands-on experience OR high school diploma/GED and 4 years of administrative experience
- • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
- • Experience working in a biopharma industry environment
