  • • Serve as the first point of contact for individuals and families courageously seeking addiction treatment, guiding them through PursueCare’s virtual intake process with empathy, clarity, and speed.
  • • Conduct confidential phone and video assessments to determine medical necessity, insurance eligibility, and the most appropriate level of care—ranging from outpatient medication-assisted treatment to intensive telehealth counseling.
  • • Own a dynamic pipeline of 50–80 prospective patients per week, documenting every interaction in our HIPAA-compliant CRM, flagging urgent clinical needs for immediate escalation to nursing or medical staff.
  • • Translate complex insurance benefits, prior-authorization requirements, and sliding-scale payment options into plain language so that financial concerns never become a barrier to life-saving care.
  • • Collaborate daily with physicians, nurse practitioners, therapists, and peer-recovery coaches to schedule initial appointments within 24–48 hours of inquiry, ensuring continuity from first call to first prescription or session.
  • • Track and report real-time conversion metrics—call-to-assessment, assessment-to-admit, and admit-to-engagement—using dashboards that feed directly into leadership’s capacity-planning and marketing ROI decisions.
  • • Champion cultural competence by adapting communication style to each caller’s age, gender identity, ethnicity, and primary language; maintain a resource library of Spanish, ASL, and other interpreter services.
  • • Participate in weekly case-conference huddles where you’ll present high-acuity cases, share successful retention tactics, and refine scripts that improve patient experience and reduce no-show rates.
  • • Educate referral partners—ER social workers, employee-assistance programs, and community mental-health centers—on PursueCare’s evidence-based model, resulting in a 30 % year-over-year increase in warm transfers.
  • • Maintain strict adherence to 42 CFR Part 2 and HIPAA privacy rules, completing annual compliance training and random chart audits with zero critical findings.
  • • Contribute to grant-funded outreach initiatives aimed at rural and veteran populations, logging community-event metrics that help secure additional federal and state funding.
  • • Continuously improve: after each quarter you’ll review recorded calls, patient-satisfaction surveys, and outcome data to propose workflow tweaks that cut average intake time by 10 % without sacrificing quality.
  • • Embrace a fully remote, yet highly connected, culture—showing up camera-ready for daily stand-ups, monthly town halls, and quarterly on-site retreats designed to strengthen team cohesion and celebrate lives saved.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 1+ year of experience in healthcare admissions, behavioral-health intake, or high-volume customer service within a regulated environment
  • • Demonstrated ability to discuss sensitive medical and financial information with empathy and accuracy
  • • Proficiency with cloud-based CRMs (Salesforce, HubSpot, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office or Google Workspace
  • • High-speed internet, private workspace, and comfort with video-conferencing tools; remote-work stipend provided
  • • Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, public health, or related field preferred but not required with commensurate experience
