đź“‹ Description

  • • As an Admissions Inquiry Representative I (AIR I) at Equip Health Inc., you will be at the forefront of our mission to make evidence-based eating disorder treatment accessible to everyone. This pivotal remote role involves managing the initial point of contact for individuals and families seeking our life-changing services.
  • • Your primary responsibility will be to expertly handle a high volume of inbound inquiries across multiple communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and web forms. You will be the first voice of Equip, providing crucial information about our comprehensive virtual treatment program, its evidence-based approach, and the dedicated care teams that support our patients.
  • • A key aspect of your role will be to clearly articulate our treatment philosophy, which is built upon the expertise of clinical leaders and the invaluable insights of individuals with lived experience. You will explain how Equip empowers individuals to achieve lasting recovery through a personalized care model that includes therapists, dietitians, physicians, and peer and family mentors.
  • • You will be instrumental in guiding potential patients and their families through the initial stages of the admissions process. This includes discussing insurance coverage, explaining financial considerations, and ensuring a smooth transition to our Admissions Specialists for those ready to move forward.
  • • A significant part of your day-to-day will involve meticulous data entry and management. You will be responsible for collecting essential patient information and accurately inputting these data points into various platforms and systems, including our Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software. This ensures that every interaction is logged, tracked, and contributes to a seamless patient journey.
  • • You will also play a crucial role in patient engagement by scheduling screening appointments, conducting reminder calls, and providing direct support to patients and families who request live contact. Your ability to manage these interactions with empathy and efficiency will be paramount.
  • • Problem-solving and customer experience management are central to this position. You will be expected to resolve patient requests efficiently during the initial contact whenever possible. For more complex or prolonged issues, you will need to demonstrate exceptional skill in managing the customer experience, showing high attention to the emotional needs of individuals seeking help.
  • • A core objective of your role is to encourage interested families and patients to take the next step in their recovery journey by moving forward with the admissions process. Your persuasive yet compassionate communication style will be vital in this regard.
  • • You will operate within a dynamic and fast-paced startup environment, which is characteristic of Equip's innovative and rapidly growing organization. This means you must be comfortable with a degree of ambiguity as systems and processes continue to evolve, and you will be expected to solve problems independently.
  • • Collaboration is key. You will work closely with diverse internal teams to ensure seamless patient flow and effective communication. Your ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with colleagues across different departments will be essential for success.
  • • This role offers the opportunity to contribute directly to Equip's mission of providing accessible, high-quality eating disorder treatment. You will be part of a passionate and dedicated team that is making a real difference in the lives of thousands of patients and families across all 50 states.
  • • You will be empowered to take ownership of your responsibilities, demonstrating strong organizational skills and a results-driven approach to your work. Your contributions will directly impact the growth and success of Equip Health Inc.
  • • The position requires a proactive mindset, a commitment to continuous learning, and the ability to adapt to new technologies and workflows as Equip continues to innovate and expand its reach.
  • • You will be an integral part of a company recognized for its influence and impact, contributing to a culture that values diversity, equity, inclusion, and belonging in all aspects of its operations and patient care.
  • • This role is fully remote, offering the flexibility to work from home while being a vital part of a mission-driven organization.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 2+ years of experience in a call center representative, customer service representative, or patient scheduling role.
  • • Proven experience managing high-volume inbound calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • • Highly organized, results-driven, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment with a degree of ambiguity.

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Flexible Paid Time Off (PTO) recommended at 3-5 weeks per year, plus 11 paid company holidays.
  • • Competitive Medical, Dental, and Vision plans with generous employer contributions for individuals and families.
  • • Company-paid Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life, and AD&D insurance.
  • • Company-paid partnership with Maven Clinic for comprehensive reproductive and family care resources.
  • • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) providing company-paid resources for mental health, legal services, and financial support.
