  • • Lead the design, development, and evolution of business intelligence and analytics solutions for healthcare coding and clinical data products serving global customers.
  • • Implement enterprise analytics best practices, including data models, semantic models, and agentic and generative AI-driven analytics solutions for internal and external stakeholders.
  • • Determine and establish BI architecture, data modeling standards, and analytics best practices for Solventum’s Healthcare Information Systems (HIS) products and customer-facing solutions.
  • • Support analytics development across Solventum’s global teams, ensuring alignment with data-driven product goals for both internal and external customers in the U.S. and internationally.
  • • Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, product, and clinical teams to integrate embedded analytics into user-facing applications such as dashboards and BI tools (e.g., QuickSight, Power BI, or equivalent).
  • • Design and implement complex data pipelines and ETL workflows using technologies such as AWS Glue, Lambda, Spark, or equivalent, optimizing performance for large-scale data and analytics workloads.
  • • Architect cloud-native systems on AWS and/or Azure, incorporating networking, security, and managed services to ensure scalability, reliability, and compliance with enterprise data processing requirements.
  • • Lead technical evaluations, proof of concepts (POCs), and architectural governance initiatives to guide engineering direction and enforce coding standards across development teams.
  • • Mentor and guide software engineering teams on architecture patterns, cloud design principles, and analytics integration methodologies.
  • • Ensure all solutions comply with corporate policies, procedures, and security standards while delivering high-quality healthcare data products.
  • • Participate in on-site onboarding at a designated company location during initial employment (travel coordinated and paid by Solventum for new hires with start dates on or after October 1, 2025).
  • • Travel up to 5% domestically or internationally as required for business needs.

🎯 Requirements

  • • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, or a related field, completed and verified prior to start
  • • Ten (10+) years of experience in Software Engineering
  • • 3–5+ years in an architecture or technical leadership role designing scalable enterprise applications, including leading architecture design, POCs, and technical evaluations
  • • Experience building user-facing applications with embedded analytics (e.g., dashboards, BI integrations like QuickSight or Power BI)
  • • Hands-on experience designing and implementing complex data pipelines and ETL workflows using AWS Glue, Lambda, Spark, or equivalent
  • • Proven experience with cloud-native architecture on AWS and/or Azure, including networking, security, and managed services
