- • Provide expert advice and support in the implementation and development of operational planning and associated service delivery processes, methods, and techniques within the financial advisory framework.
- • Ensure full compliance with the Financial Advisory and Intermediary Services (FAIS) Act requirements for Representatives, including adherence to regulatory standards for conduct and service delivery.
- • Maintain current FSCA-approved qualification through the Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5) and sustain ongoing compliance with FAIS Fit and Proper requirements.
- • Complete mandatory Product Specific Training upon onboarding to accurately advise clients on financial products and services.
- • Undertake Class of Business Training to ensure competence and authorization to offer specific financial products as defined by regulatory guidelines.
- • Engage in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) to maintain professional competence, stay updated on regulatory changes, and uphold industry best practices.
- • Demonstrate and attest to personal honesty, integrity, and good standing as required by the FAIS Act for all advisory activities.
- • Deliver client-focused financial advice aligned with Absa Group’s operational standards and regional financial service objectives.
- • Support the development and refinement of service delivery processes to enhance client experience and regulatory compliance across advisory functions.
- • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure all advisory activities are documented, reported, and aligned with Absa’s internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- • Act as a trusted advisor to clients by applying regulatory knowledge, product expertise, and ethical standards in all client interactions.
- • Contribute to the bank’s mission of empowering Africa’s future by delivering responsible, compliant, and high-quality financial advisory services.
- • Maintain accurate records of client interactions, training completions, and compliance attestations as required by the FSCA and Absa’s internal audit protocols.
