- • Research, design, develop, and test operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for medical, industrial, military, communications, aerospace, business, scientific, and general computing applications.
- • Set operational specifications and formulate and analyze software requirements.
- • May design embedded systems software.
- • Apply principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis to solve complex software problems.
- • Work on mission-critical government projects with direct impact on national defense and public services.
- • Collaborate in a remote environment with no travel required, supporting projects from any location within the United States.
- • Adhere to 8570 IAT Level II compliance requirements for information assurance and cybersecurity practices.
- • Engage in full software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, system design, implementation, testing, and maintenance.
- • Utilize expertise in software engineering, software management, and systems software to deliver high-integrity applications for government clients.
- • Operate under a Secret security clearance, ensuring all work complies with federal information handling and classification protocols.
- • Leverage GDIT’s AI-powered career tool to identify personalized learning paths and advancement opportunities within the organization.
- • Participate in a flexible work model with a full-flex work week, allowing autonomy over daily schedules while maintaining full-time commitment (40 hours/week).

- • Maintain compliance with GDIT’s identity verification process, including biometric data collection and live video authentication during hiring stages.
🎯 Requirements
- • 3+ years of related software engineering experience
- • Secret Security Clearance required
- • 8570 IAT Level II certification required
- • US Citizenship required
- • Technical training, certification(s), or degree in a relevant field
- • Ability to pass identity verification using biometric and AI-based authentication
