📋 Description
- • Serve as a Product Owner Principal for AFMS3, translating complex science, engineering, and business data processing challenges into clear, actionable software solutions.
- • Analyze user requirements, procedures, and system limitations to automate or enhance existing computer systems and improve workflow efficiency.
- • Evaluate and recommend commercially available software to meet mission-critical needs and optimize system performance.
- • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, prioritize, and deliver software features aligned with customer missions and operational goals.
- • Own the product backlog, ensuring continuous alignment between stakeholder needs and development output through agile practices.
- • Lead the definition of software requirements and ensure technical solutions meet functional, security, and performance standards.
- • Work in a remote capacity with no travel required, supporting missions across U.S. government, defense, and intelligence agencies.
- • Operate within a full-flex work week model to balance professional responsibilities with personal priorities.
- • Contribute to the development of scalable, secure, and innovative applications that directly impact national security and mission success.
- • Participate in identity verification processes that include biometric data collection and virtual interviews with camera activation for security compliance.
- • Maintain active Secret security clearance and ensure ongoing compliance with all federal security protocols.
- • Leverage GDIT’s AI-powered career tool to identify growth opportunities and learning paths aligned with professional development goals.
- • Engage with an internal mobility team dedicated to supporting career advancement and internal transitions within GDIT.
- • Work within a military-friendly culture that emphasizes innovation, collaboration, and mission-driven outcomes.
- • Adhere to all requirements of DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification for information assurance roles.
- • Ensure all deliverables comply with federal government standards for software development and data handling.
- • Operate in a fully remote environment with no physical work location requirement, serving clients nationwide.
