As a forward-deployed Deployment Architect, you will be instrumental in embedding our cutting-edge AI agents directly within client healthcare systems, acting as a trusted technical partner to drive successful integration and adoption.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to work onsite, embedded within client healthcare organizations, to deeply understand their complex operational workflows, identify critical pain points, and translate these challenges into effective AI-powered conversational solutions. You will be the technical backbone of our client relationships, guiding them through every step of the implementation process, from initial discovery and integration planning to the final deployment and scaling of our AI agents.
- • This role demands a unique blend of technical expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional interpersonal skills. You will collaborate closely with a diverse range of stakeholders, including clinical staff, operational leaders, and IT departments, to ensure our AI solutions seamlessly integrate with existing systems and deliver tangible improvements in patient care and operational efficiency.
- • Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth customer workflow discovery, spending multiple days onsite each week to meticulously analyze and document current processes. This deep understanding will form the basis for defining integration specifications and designing sophisticated AI conversation flows that address specific customer needs.
- • You will also be responsible for defining, documenting, and driving the technical architecture required to connect Hippocratic AI's solutions with a variety of client platforms, including Electronic Health Records (EHRs) such as Epic and Cerner, Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems, population health tools, and other relevant health IT infrastructure. This involves understanding complex data flows and ensuring secure, efficient data exchange.
- • Designing, customizing, and deploying modular, scalable AI agents will be a core part of your role. You will tailor these agents to align with the unique requirements and use cases of each customer, ensuring they are robust, reliable, and deliver maximum value.
- • As the technical lead for post-sale implementations, you will manage the entire technical lifecycle, serving as the primary technical point of contact for clients and ensuring a smooth, successful deployment experience. This includes proactive problem-solving and ensuring client satisfaction.
- • Cross-functional collaboration is essential. You will work hand-in-hand with our internal engineering, product management, machine learning, clinical, and sales teams to translate customer feedback and requirements into product enhancements and new solutions. This feedback loop is critical for the continuous improvement of our AI platform.
- • Furthermore, you will play a key role in developing reusable tooling, comprehensive playbooks, and repeatable frameworks. This initiative is crucial for improving the scalability and efficiency of our implementation processes, allowing us to support a growing number of clients effectively.
- • This is a forward-deployed, onsite role requiring candidates to be based in North Carolina and able to travel to a client site in Charlotte five days per week. Periodic travel to Hippocratic AI offices, such as our Palo Alto location, will be necessary for strategic planning, team collaboration, and knowledge sharing.

🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Business, or a related field.
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare implementation or product management.
- • Minimum of 5 years of experience integrating with enterprise EHRs (Epic, Cerner, Athena, etc.) or payers/digital health companies.
- • Proven ability to cultivate strong customer relationships and deliver exemplary product support.
- • Demonstrated proficiency in translating external stakeholder needs into internal product requirements.
- • Comfortable operating autonomously in a client-embedded role.
- • Comfort reading and debugging Python (Nice-to-have).
- • Start-up experience (Preferred).
