- • Serve as the senior technical lead on a delivery pod, directing AI coding tools to generate production-grade code while maintaining full ownership of system integrity and quality.
- • Do not write most code manually; instead, orchestrate AI assistants to implement features, fix bugs, and optimize systems based on clear technical specifications and architectural guidance.
- • Review, validate, and refine AI-generated code for correctness, performance, security, and alignment with architectural standards across frontend, backend, and database layers.
- • Act as the final line of defense for production incidents, diagnosing and resolving complex, cross-system failures that AI tools cannot autonomously solve.
- • Define clear, unambiguous prompts and constraints for AI coding tools to ensure consistent, reliable output across multiple development contexts.
- • Collaborate with product, design, and data teams to translate business requirements into technical directives for AI-driven development workflows.
- • Maintain and evolve the technical architecture of digital solutions, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and compliance with enterprise standards.
- • Monitor and improve the effectiveness of AI-assisted development pipelines by identifying patterns in AI errors, refining prompting strategies, and documenting best practices.
- • Conduct code reviews focused on logic flow, edge case handling, and system integration points rather than syntax or boilerplate, which are handled by AI.
- • Train and mentor junior engineers on the effective use of AI coding tools, emphasizing critical thinking, validation, and debugging over manual coding.
- • Stay current with advancements in AI-assisted development platforms, code generation models, and automation tooling to continuously enhance team productivity and output quality.
- • Ensure all AI-generated code adheres to security protocols, data privacy regulations, and client-specific compliance requirements.
- • Participate in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives as the technical authority, focusing on delivery accuracy, risk mitigation, and system reliability.
- • Own the end-to-end delivery of features from specification to production, with primary responsibility for the quality and stability of AI-generated outputs.
- • Work across multiple technology stacks and environments, adapting AI tooling strategies to suit diverse client systems and legacy integrations.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven experience as a senior software engineer with deep expertise in frontend, backend, and database technologies
- • Demonstrated ability to direct AI coding tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Amazon CodeWhisperer, Tabnine) to produce production-ready code
- • Strong debugging and systems-level troubleshooting skills for complex, cross-platform production issues
- • Experience reviewing and validating AI-generated code for correctness, security, and performance
- • Deep understanding of software architecture, design patterns, and scalable system design
- • Ability to define precise prompts and constraints for AI coding assistants to ensure reliable output
