• • As an Agentic Systems Engineer at Joist AI, you will help build the next generation of agentic applications that streamline proposal writing for the architecture, engineering, and construction (AEC) industry by creating systems that reason, use tools, remember, and collaborate with users.
• • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include building modular, plug-and-play agents, adding memory layers (short-term, long-term, summarization, retrieval-backed), wiring up tool integrations and MCP servers, owning feature quality through tests and observability, and analyzing production traces to improve system behavior.
• • Joist AI is a remote-first technology company revolutionizing marketing and revenue operations for AEC professionals through AI-powered software that enhances collaboration, innovation, and workflow efficiency.
• • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in modern agentic systems, gain hands-on experience with LLM observability tools like Langfuse or LangSmith, and contribute to production-grade systems that push the frontier of AI agent design in a high-impact domain.
