- • As the AI Agents Solutions Architect - Compliance at Kraken, you will serve as the primary architect and builder of AI-powered solutions within the Global Compliance team, directly enabling the company’s mission to accelerate global crypto adoption by modernizing regulatory operations through intelligent automation. This role is critical to transforming how Kraken manages risk, scales compliance capacity, and maintains trust across jurisdictions by designing systems that augment human judgment with AI-driven efficiency.
- • You will design and deploy agentic workflows using n8n, Claude API, Python, and MCP to automate high-impact compliance processes such as alert pre-screening, case narrative generation, regulatory change summarization, EDD report drafting, and audit-ready documentation — ensuring all solutions include human oversight, audit trails, and regulatory compliance before deployment.
- • You will own end-to-end governance of AI systems in compliance, including risk tier classification, process ownership, data flow documentation, access controls, and regulatory impact assessments, while serving as the Compliance domain representative in shaping model risk management and governance standards across the Automate Everything initiative.
- • You will multiply the Compliance team’s capability by creating documentation, runbooks, and training programs that enable non-technical staff to use and maintain AI tools, while tracking and reporting on measurable impacts such as reduced alert review time, increased case throughput, and shortened regulatory reporting cycles.
- • You will work within a mission-driven, fully remote global team of over 70 countries and 50 languages, contributing to Kraken’s reputation as a leader in crypto security, education, and client support, while helping build the infrastructure that supports products like Kraken Pro, Desktop, Wallet, and Futures across regulated markets.
- • You will develop deep expertise in applying AI to regulated financial workflows, gaining hands-on experience in balancing innovation with compliance — positioning yourself at the forefront of RegTech innovation in the crypto industry with direct impact on how financial institutions adopt AI responsibly.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of experience in Compliance operations, financial crime, regulatory technology, or a combined compliance and technical role with demonstrated senior-level execution.
- • Strong fluency with AI and workflow automation tools, including demonstrated experience designing, deploying, and driving adoption of AI solutions within Compliance or RegTech workflows using n8n, Python, Claude API/Anthropic SDK, or equivalent.
- • Deep working knowledge of anti-financial crime (AML/CFT, sanctions), capital markets compliance (sales and trading, market conduct, transaction surveillance), and data privacy frameworks (GDPR, BSA, FATF, AML data retention).
