📋 Description
- • The AI & Automation Builder — People role is critical to modernizing HR operations by replacing manual, repetitive tasks with intelligent, automated systems that run in real-world environments.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include building AI-powered automations for core People workflows such as recruiting, onboarding, offboarding, and compliance; translating workflow specs into tested, deployed automations; integrating with Workday, Jira, and Microsoft 365; and partnering with the AI Center of Excellence and HR stakeholders.
- • The People team at Progressive Leasing operates at the forefront of an AI-enabled transformation, collaborating closely with the AI Center of Excellence to deliver agentic workflows and modern tooling directly into HR operations.
- • In this role, you will gain hands-on experience building and deploying AI-driven automations, deepen your expertise in enterprise HR systems like Workday, and develop the ability to translate technical solutions into business impact for non-technical HR teams.
🎯 Requirements
- • Demonstrated ability to build and ship automations — not just identify opportunities
- • Hands-on experience using AI tools (Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT, or similar) to automate real workflows
- • Comfort with APIs, webhooks, and basic data formats (JSON)
- • Familiarity with no-code/low-code tools; light scripting (Python, JavaScript, Apps Script) is a plus
- • Working knowledge of how HR/People functions operate and where automation adds value
- • Experience with enterprise HR systems (Workday strongly preferred)
- • Ability to clearly explain what you built to non-technical stakeholders
- • Self-directed, iterative working style — you build, test, and refine without waiting for perfection
- • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
