• • As an AI Automation Engineer at Valsoft Corporation, you will be embedded directly within one of 150+ mission-critical vertical market software companies in the portfolio, where you will identify and eliminate manual, repetitive workflows across departments such as sales, customer support, operations, and back-office functions. Your role is not advisory — you are expected to build, ship, and own end-to-end automation solutions that deliver measurable operational impact from day one, working alongside product teams, operators, and leadership to transform how businesses run.
• • Day to day, you will audit existing workflows by interviewing stakeholders and mapping processes to uncover root causes of inefficiency; translate messy, manual procedures into reliable automated systems using the right tool for the job — whether that’s Make, Zapier, n8n, custom code, or AI agents; design and deploy production-quality automations that integrate with existing software stacks; measure outcomes in terms of time saved, cost reduced, or error rates lowered; iterate based on feedback and results; and regularly present findings and ROI to non-technical stakeholders to secure buy-in and prioritize future work.
