- • As an AI Automation Engineer at Valsoft Corporation, you will be embedded directly within one of 150+ mission-critical vertical market software companies in the portfolio, where you will identify and eliminate manual, repetitive workflows across departments — turning operational inefficiencies into scalable, AI-powered automation solutions that drive measurable business impact from day one.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities include auditing end-to-end business processes across sales, customer support, operations, reporting, and internal tooling; interviewing stakeholders to map and diagnose root causes of inefficiencies; designing and deploying automation using the right mix of AI, no-code platforms (Make, Zapier, n8n), or custom code; owning the full lifecycle from scoping and building to shipping, measuring ROI, and iterating based on feedback; and partnering with company leadership to prioritize initiatives and communicate value in clear, non-technical terms.

- • Proven experience automating real business workflows that have shipped and delivered sustained impact — not just prototypes or experiments.
- • Fluency in selecting and applying the right automation tools for the job, including Make, Zapier, n8n, AI agents, or custom code, based on context and requirements.
- • Strong technical foundation enabling you to build production-quality, reliable, and maintainable automation solutions.
- • Exceptional problem-framing skills — you consistently ask the right questions to understand root causes before jumping to solutions.
- • High comfort with ambiguity and the ability to thrive when given vague directives like ‘this is costing us time but we don’t know why.’
- • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical solutions, their value, and ROI clearly to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
