- • As an AI Business Analyst at ServiceCentral, you will be at the forefront of innovation, bridging the gap between complex customer needs and cutting-edge software solutions. This pivotal role is central to our strategic shift towards a modular platform, empowering you to drive the entire lifecycle from initial customer problem identification to the delivery of validated, working prototypes.
- • You will be instrumental in shaping the future of our SOC2-certified backend, ServiceManager, by leveraging advanced AI coding tools to translate customer requirements into tangible software demonstrations. This is a highly hands-on position that demands a proactive approach, a deep understanding of customer workflows, and the ability to rapidly iterate and deliver functional prototypes.
- • Your primary responsibility will be to conduct in-depth customer discovery sessions. This involves meticulously mapping existing workflows, identifying critical pain points, and understanding intricate integration requirements. The insights gained from these sessions will form the foundation for developing innovative solutions.
- • A key aspect of this role is the direct application of AI coding and prototyping tools, such as Cursor, Claude, and GitHub Copilot. You will utilize these powerful technologies to build working demos against ServiceManager's robust API and GraphQL layer. This is not a theoretical role; you will be expected to produce actual software, not just conceptual designs or presentations.
- • You will present these prototypes directly to customers, actively soliciting feedback and iterating rapidly until the requirements are fully confirmed and validated. This customer-facing element is crucial for ensuring that our solutions precisely meet their needs and deliver maximum value.
- • Once a prototype is validated, you will be responsible for packaging it with comprehensive supporting specifications. This detailed documentation will be handed off to the engineering team, enabling them to efficiently harden and deploy the solution into production.
- • Furthermore, you will play a significant role in supporting our sales team. This includes conducting live technical demonstrations of prototype solutions during pre-sales engagements, showcasing the power and flexibility of our platform to potential clients.
- • By analyzing cross-customer patterns, you will identify opportunities for new module development or enhancements to our platform capabilities, contributing directly to our product roadmap and strategic growth.
- • Collaboration with the engineering team is essential. You will work closely with them to define and refine API and GraphQL requirements, ensuring that our backend infrastructure supports and enables rapid prototyping workflows.
- • You will also be tasked with configuring and customizing platform modules to meet specific customer deployment requirements, ensuring a tailored and effective implementation for each client.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to work within the dynamic device repair and reverse logistics industry. While prior experience in these specific sectors is not mandatory, it will provide valuable context and accelerate your impact. You will be contributing to a platform used by over 500 customers in more than 100 countries, including major insurance carriers, OEM-authorized service providers, and franchise repair networks.
- • Ultimately, you will own the full arc from customer problem to validated prototype, driving tangible outcomes and contributing significantly to ServiceCentral's mission of building a modular, customer-centric platform.
- • You will perform other reasonable activities as required by management, demonstrating flexibility and a commitment to the team's success.
🎯 Requirements
- • Daily working use of AI coding and prototyping tools (e.g., Cursor, Claude, GitHub Copilot) is a core job function.
- • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Business Analyst, Solutions Consultant, Implementation Consultant, or Professional Services Delivery role.
- • Proven ability to conduct independent, customer-facing discovery sessions and translate findings into actionable requirements.
- • Demonstrated track record of producing working software demos, not just wireframes or slide decks.
- • Familiarity with REST APIs or GraphQL is preferred.
- • Experience in device repair, reverse logistics, recommerce, or adjacent industries is a plus.
