- • As a key member of our global data and AI teams, you will be instrumental in developing scalable data products that drive measurable value. Your responsibilities will encompass the full lifecycle of data pipeline development and AI integration. You will architect and implement ELT processes, ensuring data is not only accessible but also of the highest quality, well-modeled, and optimized for downstream consumption by analytics, machine learning models, and cutting-edge GenAI applications.
- • Your day-to-day activities will involve designing and building robust, scalable data pipelines using Snowflake as the core data platform. You will be responsible for developing AI-ready data models and feature layers specifically tailored to support advanced analytics, machine learning initiatives, and generative AI use cases. A significant aspect of this role will be the practical application of Snowflake Cortex AI, utilizing its capabilities for tasks such as embedding generation, text classification, summarization, and AI-assisted analytics directly within the data warehouse.
- • Furthermore, you will integrate and operationalize complex AI workflows by leveraging AWS Bedrock and other essential AWS services, including Lambda for serverless compute and Step Functions for workflow orchestration. Building and optimizing ELT pipelines will be a core function, utilizing industry-standard tools such as dbt, SQL, and Python to efficiently transform and load data from a wide array of sources. These sources will include APIs, various SaaS platforms, traditional databases, and real-time event streams, demanding a flexible and adaptable approach to data integration.
- • A critical component of your role will be ensuring the highest standards of data quality, observability, and governance across all data pipelines and AI workloads. This involves implementing checks, monitoring systems, and best practices to maintain data integrity and reliability. 🎯 Requirements
- • 4+ years of experience in data engineering, with a strong emphasis on hands-on Snowflake development and administration.
- • Proven experience in building AI-enabled data solutions or preparing data specifically for Machine Learning (ML) and Large Language Model (LLM) workloads.
- • Strong proficiency in SQL and Python for data transformation, pipeline development, and automation.
- • Hands-on experience with cloud-native AI services, particularly Snowflake Cortex AI or similar warehouse-native AI capabilities.
- • Practical experience with AWS services, including but not limited to AWS Bedrock, Lambda, S3, and IAM, for building and operationalizing AI workflows.
- • Familiarity with ELT tooling and orchestration frameworks such as dbt, Airflow, or similar solutions.
