AI Data Specialist

📋 Description

• • As an AI Data Specialist at Accordion Partners, you will be the person who makes data work in practice, moving fluidly between messy source systems and production-ready pipelines to support AI-augmented delivery pods that transform how PE-backed companies run finance and operations.
• • You will build and maintain data pipelines, design custom ML models, explore unfamiliar datasets, diagnose data quality issues, work alongside AI engineers and product managers, run client working sessions, tell data stories to non-technical audiences, navigate enterprise data environments, use AI tools to accelerate work, and travel to client sites as needed.
• • Accordion Partners is a private equity value creation partner headquartered in New York with 10 global offices, backed by premier private equity firms, and composed of 1,400+ finance and technology experts delivering data, technology, and AI-driven consulting to CFOs and portfolio companies across sectors like Retail, CPG, Healthcare, Media & Entertainment, Technology, and Logistics.
• • In this role, you will own end-to-end data delivery on multiple AI engagements, establish a reputation for anticipating data problems, run confident client sessions, and demonstrate faster, higher-quality output through strategic use of AI tools—all while growing your expertise in finance-adjacent data systems and AI/ML workflows in a high-velocity, entrepreneurial environment.
