📋 Description

• The AI Deployment Engineer role at OpenAI’s Codex team in Singapore focuses on helping customers adopt AI coding tools across their software development lifecycle by acting as a trusted technical partner.
• Day-to-day responsibilities include serving as the primary technical expert on OpenAI Codex for customer portfolios, designing and implementing AI-enhanced development workflows, building demos and reference implementations using Codex, leading technical workshops and enablement sessions, contributing to the OpenAI Cookbook, gathering product insights from customer deployments, influencing customer strategy on AI integration, and advising on solution architecture, security, and operational readiness.
• The team works closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Applied Engineering, and the broader Codex organization to advocate for customer needs, shape product direction, and accelerate deployment of intelligent coding systems across digital-native companies and global enterprises.
• In this role, you will deepen your expertise in AI-driven software development, influence product strategy through real-world customer feedback, scale your impact across enterprise engineering organizations, and become a recognized leader in AI-augmented development practices while contributing to the global developer community via public technical content.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of post-sales engineering or solutions architecture experience working directly with customers
• 2+ years of software engineering experience with strong understanding of the software development life cycle
• Active power user of AI coding tools with customized developer workflows and a point of view on engineering productivity
• Experience delivering large, high-impact workshops or technical training to engineering teams
• Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in written and verbal form for strategic decision-making
• Track record of contributing technical guides, patterns, or examples publicly with focus on clarity and pedagogy
