- • As an AI Deployment Engineer for Codex at OpenAI, you will serve as the primary technical expert helping customers integrate AI coding tools into their software development lifecycle, driving adoption and innovation across global enterprises.
- • You will partner directly with engineering leaders and hands-on builders to design, validate, and scale advanced AI workflows, often using Codex to prototype and build demos, integrations, and automations that customers ultimately adopt.
- • You will work closely with Sales, Solutions Engineering, Product, Applied Engineering, and the broader Codex organization to advocate for customer needs, shape product direction, and ensure successful deployment of intelligent coding systems.
- • You will lead workshops, build reference implementations, contribute to the OpenAI Cookbook, gather product insights, and act as a trusted advisor on architecture, security, and best practices for AI-assisted development.
🎯 Requirements
- • 8+ years of post-sales engineering or solutions architecture experience working directly with customers
- • 2+ years of software engineering experience with strong understanding of the software development life cycle
- • Active power user of AI coding tools with deeply customized developer workflows and a point of view on engineering productivity
- • Experience delivering large, high-impact workshops or technical training to engineering teams
- • Proven ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly in writing and speech to influence strategic decisions
- • Track record of contributing technical guides, patterns, or examples publicly with focus on clarity and community impact
