AI Engineer

📋 Description

• • As an AI Engineer at Sweed AB, you will be a full-cycle engineer responsible for independently shipping features end-to-end, from task breakdown to production deployment, using AI tools like Cursor, Claude, and Codex as core components of your workflow to enhance speed and quality across the stack.
• • Day to day, you will design and build server-side logic (REST/RPC APIs, services, integrations), implement clean and fast user interfaces with React and TypeScript, set up CI/CD pipelines and containerization with Docker, participate in code reviews and technical discussions, and apply agentic AI workflows including prompt engineering, output verification, and degradation control to maintain quality.
• • Sweed AB is a product-driven startup with over 200 employees globally, building an all-in-one cannabis retail platform that combines POS, eCommerce, Marketing, Analytics, and Inventory Management. The development team is distributed and organized into cross-functional product teams of 8–12 members, each led by a Team Lead and Product Owner, with close alignment to US-based leadership and customer success teams.
