📋 Description

• Architect, develop, and deploy high-performance, scalable AI applications into production environments, ensuring robust integrations with WRITER’s end-to-end platform.
• Drive the development of intelligent agents and AI-powered features, translating complex research into practical, impactful solutions for enterprise customers such as Mars, Marriott, Uber, and Vanguard.
• Collaborate closely with research scientists, data scientists, and product managers to define technical requirements and deliver features that address critical business needs.
• Contribute to the research and evaluation of emerging AI technologies, frameworks, and tools to maintain WRITER’s leadership in the enterprise generative AI space.
• Champion responsible AI practices, including bias detection, explainability, and safety alignment, ensuring all AI systems are trustworthy and ethically aligned.
• Build and optimize large language model (LLM) pipelines and infrastructure to support enterprise-scale AI deployments grounded in customer-specific data.
• Design and implement MLOps workflows to manage the full AI lifecycle, including model training, versioning, monitoring, and deployment across cloud platforms.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-tested code for scalable software systems that support real-time AI inference and high-throughput processing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to AI model performance, latency, accuracy, and system reliability.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and sprint planning to ensure alignment with product goals and engineering standards.
• Stay current with advancements in natural language processing, deep learning architectures, and enterprise AI applications to inform WRITER’s technical roadmap.
• Enable cross-functional teams to understand and utilize AI capabilities by documenting systems, creating technical guidance, and providing support.
• Ensure AI systems comply with enterprise security, privacy, and governance standards while maintaining high availability and performance.
• Work hybrid in the London office, collaborating daily with global teams to accelerate product development and deployment cycles.
• Report to the Head of AI Engineering and contribute to shaping the long-term vision for WRITER’s AI infrastructure and agent platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of professional experience building and deploying machine learning or AI systems in a production environment.
• Proficiency in Python and experience with relevant AI/ML frameworks such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, or JAX.
• A strong foundation in machine learning principles, deep learning architectures, and natural language processing, particularly with large language models.
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure) and MLOps tools for managing the AI lifecycle.
• Demonstrated ability to write clean, efficient, and well-tested code for scalable software systems.
• Exceptional problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex technical challenges with creative AI solutions.
