- • As a Vice President, Responsible AI Data Scientist at Accordion Partners, you will serve as an internal subject matter expert embedding responsible AI principles across the AI development lifecycle to ensure trustworthy, explainable, compliant, and auditable AI solutions.
- • You will translate AI governance, regulatory, and compliance requirements into testable operational playbooks, develop evaluation frameworks for bias detection and model robustness, and pressure test AI solutions for accuracy and reliability while establishing benchmarks aligned with NIST AI RMF, EU AI Act, and ISO 42001.
- • You will collaborate with data science, engineering, Legal/Privacy/Risk, and Technology teams to advise on risk-informed design decisions, establish Responsible AI frameworks, and monitor emerging regulations to translate insights into actionable internal guidance.
- • You will grow your expertise in AI governance by shaping firm-wide Responsible AI practices, influencing cross-functional AI solution development, and establishing validation rigor that ensures AI systems are trustworthy for clients and the firm.
🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of hands-on experience in data and machine learning, including developing, deploying, and evaluating solutions using statistics, ML, NLP, or data visualization.
- • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, Mathematics, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative field.
- • Strong programming proficiency in Python, R, or similar languages, with experience in ML frameworks and responsible AI tooling.
- • Understanding of AI and privacy regulations (EU AI Act, NIST AI RMF, GDPR, CCPA, ISO 42001) and ability to translate regulatory mandates into technical controls.
- • Proven experience collaborating with Legal/Risk/Compliance, Security, and AI/ML engineering teams in regulated or complex industries.
- • Exceptional communication skills to convey complex technical and regulatory concepts to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
