AI Identity Architect

📋 Description

• • As an AI Identity Architect at Okta, you will serve as Customer Zero to define and implement enterprise identity strategy for autonomous AI agents, securing the next generation of identities through battle-tested experience in securing autonomous agents at scale.
• • Day to day, you will drive product roadmap by translating real-world AI security challenges into prioritized feature requests, architect secure Cross-App Access patterns and brokered delegation for AI agents, validate identity patterns using Okta primitives (OAuth2/OIDC, mTLS, SPIFFE/SPIRE), implement JIT/JEA access and automated JML lifecycle for agents, and define secure connectivity between Okta identity and AI orchestration layers like LangChain, LangGraph, and major model providers.
• • You will join Okta’s Identity team, whose mission is to strengthen Okta’s position as the leading Identity-as-a-Service solution by identifying and resolving risks to employees, product, and customers amid rapid cloud adoption, operating with speed and urgency to execute with excellence on career-defining work securing AI from human to machine.
• • In this role, you will shape industry best practices by stress-testing internal AI security frameworks, authoring white papers and technical guides, influencing product strategy at the VP/CTO level, and establishing a multi-year Zero Trust-aligned roadmap for Non-Human Identities and AI agents that eliminates identity debt and enables secure, intent-bound access across the enterprise.
