- • Join Kumo AI, a fast-growing startup building the next generation of AI for structured data using Relational Foundation Models (RFMs) to help global enterprises turn data into predictions, decisions, and automated systems.
- • Support and eventually own technical success for enterprise customers adopting the Kumo platform by designing and building prototypes, workflows, and models across use cases like recommendations, forecasting, fraud detection, supply chain optimization, financial analytics, and CRM/growth marketing.
- • Work hands-on with large-scale relational datasets, customer pipelines, and production ML systems; guide customers through modeling choices, data structures, evaluation, trust, interpretability, and rollout plans; translate ambiguous business needs into concrete ML solutions; collaborate with engineering and research teams to improve platform capabilities; act as a technical leader and trusted advisor, recognizing that deploying ML involves both technical and people/business challenges; deliver demos, workshops, and best practices to executives, product managers, analysts, and data scientists.
- • Collaborate in a collaborative, fast-moving, user-obsessed culture that values initiative, rapid learning, clear communication, and solving hard technical and people challenges; gain exposure to diverse industries and real-world problems at global scale, accelerating your growth as an expert practitioner of cutting-edge AI applied across dozens of use cases; build advanced predictive systems using GNNs, temporal models, forecasting engines, and agentic workflows; help define enterprise ML best practices in tools, processes, workflows, and impact.
- • Develop deep expertise in applying AI to real business problems while working directly with Silicon Valley innovators, global brands, and leaders in data science and business; thrive in a high-growth environment where your impact is visible and the ceiling for growth continues to rise as the company scales.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s or Master’s in a STEM field (CS, EE, Math, Physics, Stats, etc.)
- • Strong fundamentals in data science, statistics, or machine learning coursework
- • Real-world experience via internships, research, industry work, or substantial project work
- • Demonstrated intellectual curiosity and initiative through personal ML/AI projects, open source, research, hackathons, or hands-on experience
- • Strong communication skills; comfortable working with technical and non-technical audiences
- • Genuine enthusiasm for ML/AI, modern modeling approaches, and applying them to real business problems
- • Motivated, self-driven, excited to learn fast, and comfortable in a high-velocity startup environment
