Full Job Description

đź“‹ Description

  • • Serve as the domain expert on Deel’s go-to-market (GTM) sales motion, analyzing pipeline data including prospect signals, call transcripts, and loss reasons to build a living, data-driven understanding of what drives deal success and failure.
  • • Define high-leverage gaps in the sales process and own the requirements for AI-powered tools, automation, and data enhancements that directly improve sales efficiency and conversion rates.
  • • Build prototypes and operational artifacts—such as scoring models, data workflows, and automated dashboards—to validate concepts before handing off to engineering teams, ensuring ideas move from insight to execution.
  • • Design, implement, and maintain AE scorecards that evaluate sales performance across key stages of the sales cycle, including discovery quality, objection handling, and pitch delivery, with actionable insights for coaching and improvement.
  • • Translate field intelligence and sales feedback into data-backed improvements to sales playbooks, talk tracks, battlecards, and stage-by-stage scripts, ensuring they are current, tested, and actively used by account executives.
  • • Operate at the intersection of sales strategy, analytical rigor, and product thinking, bridging the gap between revenue teams and engineering/product to build solutions that change rep behavior, not just report on it.
  • • Leverage Gong or Chorus beyond basic call review to extract patterns, build scoring logic, and drive measurable, scalable changes to the sales process based on real-world interactions.
  • • Maintain deep familiarity with the modern sales tech stack, including Salesforce or HubSpot CRM, Outreach or Salesloft engagement platforms, and revenue analytics tools, to ensure seamless integration of intelligence systems.
  • • Develop and articulate a clear, evidence-based perspective on AI in sales, distinguishing between tools that deliver real productivity gains and those that are merely novel or superficial.
  • • Communicate complex, qualitative field signals into crisp, prioritized, and actionable requirements for product and engineering teams, ensuring alignment across functions and minimizing ambiguity in delivery.
  • • Take ownership of problems without waiting for formal direction, operating comfortably between analysis and execution to identify opportunities and build solutions independently.
  • • Contribute to the development of Deel’s GTM Sales Brain by continuously refining the intelligence system that powers sales enablement, coaching, and strategy across global teams.
  • • Collaborate with Account Executives, Sales Leadership, Product, and Engineering to ensure all GTM intelligence tools are aligned with real-world sales dynamics and customer needs.
  • • Ensure all sales artifacts—scorecards, playbooks, battlecards—are not static documents but living systems that evolve with market feedback, pipeline trends, and product updates.
  • • Maintain a relentless focus on impact: every prototype, requirement, or framework must demonstrably improve sales outcomes, reduce cycle time, or increase win rates.

🎯 Requirements

  • • 5–8 years in a Sales Engineer, pre-sales, or revenue architecture role with direct experience inside a high-velocity sales pipeline
  • • Hands-on experience using Gong or Chorus to extract patterns, build scoring logic, and drive measurable process changes at scale
  • • Proven track record of building scorecards, playbooks, and battlecards that changed rep behavior, not just reported on performance
  • • Strong proficiency with CRM (Salesforce or HubSpot), sales engagement platforms (Outreach or Salesloft), and revenue analytics tools
  • • Demonstrated ability to prototype and build operational artifacts (e.g., scoring models, data workflows) without waiting for engineering support
  • • Clear, evidence-based perspective on AI in sales, with experience evaluating or deploying AI tools in a revenue context

🏖️ Benefits

  • • Stock grant opportunities dependent on role, employment status, and location
  • • Additional perks and benefits based on employment status and country
  • • Flexibility of remote work, including optional WeWork access
