- • The AI Operator role at Distyl Inc. is a high-impact, operational force multiplier embedded in the company’s most critical functions — revenue operations, platform delivery, research programs, and staffing — where you own the operating rhythm, enforce accountability, and close the gap between ambition and execution in complex, fast-moving AI-driven environments.
- • Day to day, you will enforce operational rigor by defining clear goals and ownership, drive stakeholder alignment across technical, business, and executive levels, operate at maximum velocity amid shifting priorities, use and champion frontier AI tools to reinvent workflows, and author scalable best practices — while specializing in one of four tracks: owning talent engine and workforce planning (Staffing), managing pipeline and deal execution end-to-end (Revenue), ensuring platform teams ship with client-program rigor (Platform Delivery), or accelerating research execution with OKR tracking and blocker removal (Research Programs).
- • Distyl is an applied AI technology company backed by top-tier investors including Lightspeed, Khosla, and Coatue, partnering with Fortune 500 institutions to rearchitect critical operations using AI-native systems — with a 100% production deployment success rate and a profitable business model, operating at the frontier of enterprise AI.
- • In this role, you will develop elite operational mastery in high-intensity environments, learn to leverage AI as a core workflow tool, build scalable operating models used across global enterprises, and become a trusted force multiplier who ships outcomes under ambiguity — gaining visibility with senior leadership and shaping how AI is operationally scaled at the world’s most ambitious institutions.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to own hard outcomes under pressure in high-intensity environments (e.g., founder, Chief of Staff, COO, Delivery Manager, or similar operator roles)
- • Strong communicator who can seamlessly transition between technical deep-dives with engineers and strategic conversations with executives
- • Comfortable thriving in ambiguity and fast-changing priorities — able to find clarity and keep programs moving without slowing down
- • AI-native mindset: actively uses frontier AI tools in daily work and reinvents workflows as technology evolves, holding self and team to staying ahead of the curve
- • Track record of shipping, wrangling, and delivering at scale — with explanations and plans for missed deadlines, not excuses
- • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
