- • Senior Business Unit Systems Analyst role supporting Assurant’s Connected Living – Mobile Solutions business within the Operations Process Management (OPM) team, acting as a critical bridge between business and IT to ensure seamless system performance across customer touchpoints including call centers, IVR, web, and mobile applications.
- • Day-to-day responsibilities include providing production support and triage for system issues, investigating and documenting defects using SQL and data analysis, supporting User Acceptance Testing (UAT), tracking and prioritizing defects and enhancements with IT teams, collaborating across functions to align systems across multiple entry points, supporting new product implementations and integrations, identifying scalable long-term solutions, and contributing to initiatives that improve customer experience, efficiency, and system performance.
- • The OPM team operates within Assurant’s global Operations organization, partnering with IT, Product, Compliance, Marketing, and other stakeholders to deliver reliable, high-quality systems that support policy and claims operations for major mobile carriers and digital platforms.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in production support, data-driven troubleshooting, cross-functional collaboration, and system lifecycle management while gaining exposure to complex integrations, product launches, and continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced, innovative environment focused on enhancing the connected customer experience.
🎯 Requirements
- • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, or similar role
- • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- • Strong experience supporting complex systems and integrations in production environments
- • Hands-on experience with SQL and data analysis (ability to independently query and interpret data)
- • Experience with production support, issue triage, and defect management
- • Solid understanding of testing methodologies and UAT processes
- • Excellent problem-solving skills with ability to analyze and resolve complex issues
- • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills (ability to translate technical and business needs)
- • High level of attention to detail, organization, and follow-through
- • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- • Advanced English communication skills (written and verbal)
