- • As an AI Operator in Research Programs at Distyl Inc., you will serve as a chaos wrangler embedded in high-stakes environments, owning the operating rhythm and ensuring accountability across research and engineering initiatives. This role is critical to translating ambitious AI goals into executed outcomes by enforcing rigor, driving alignment, and maintaining velocity in complex, fast-moving programs.
- • Day to day, you will enforce operational rigor by defining clear goals, ownership, and risk understanding; drive stakeholder alignment across technical, business, and executive levels; operate at maximum velocity by adapting to shifting priorities without losing momentum; use and champion frontier AI tools to reinvent workflows; and author best practices for high-performance program execution at scale.
- • You will partner with research and engineering leadership within Distyl’s core business functions — revenue operations, platform delivery, and research programs — to ensure programs ship with velocity and accountability. The team operates in a mission-driven, high-intensity culture where ownership, pragmatism, and excellence are prized, and where AI-native practices are not just encouraged but expected.
- • In this role, you will learn to operate at the frontier of applied AI, mastering the intersection of technical depth and operational excellence. You will achieve impact by closing the gap between ambition and execution in some of the world’s most complex operating environments, while developing a repeatable playbook for high-performance AI program delivery that could influence industry standards.
🎯 Requirements
- • Proven ability to own hard outcomes under pressure in high-intensity environments such as founder, Chief of Staff, COO, or Delivery Manager roles
- • Strong communication skills to switch seamlessly between technical deep-dives with engineers and strategic conversations with executives
- • Habitual use of frontier AI tools in daily work with a track record of reinventing personal workflows as technology evolves
- • Comfort thriving in ambiguity and fast-changing environments where priorities shift frequently
- • Track record of shipping, wrangling, and delivering results at scale without needing external accountability
- • Willingness to travel approximately 20% of the time
