📋 Description

• As a Forward Deployment Engineer (FDE) on the AI Solutions Team at A-Team Global, you will be the spearhead for transforming bold AI concepts into working prototypes and production-grade systems, thriving in the 0→1 stage and carrying solutions through to enterprise deployment.
• You will partner directly with clients, product managers, designers, and AI researchers to prototype, harden, and deploy AI solutions with speed and precision, owning outcomes end-to-end by breaking down ambiguous goals, applying product thinking, and building systems that deliver measurable impact.
• You will work on a highly visible, client-facing role where your work shapes proposals, accelerates customer buy-in, and sets the foundation for long-term product success, using modern AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, and Copilot as force multipliers.
• You will collaborate across functions with product managers, designers, AI researchers, and platform teams to turn abstract problems into tangible, tested products, driving velocity without sacrificing quality by shipping code that is tested, observable, and ready for the next stage.
• You will push AI forward by applying modern AI engineering practices—data pipelines, retrieval systems, LLM evaluation, prompt and context engineering, fine-tuning—to create novel, AI-powered product experiences for Fortune 500 clients.

🎯 Requirements

• Exceptional client-facing communication: ability to run client meetings, defuse tension, set expectations, and explain tradeoffs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Enterprise-grade platform experience: demonstrated experience designing and shipping production systems for real users, including auth, multi-tenancy, observability, security, and reliability.
• Strong TypeScript and Python proficiency: comfort owning full-stack work across both languages, moving fluidly between Next.js/Node frontend and Python AI/data backend.
• Deep hands-on AI systems experience: built and shipped systems using LLMs, RAG, embeddings, evals, and modern orchestration frameworks, understanding the difference between a prompt that works once and a system that works at scale.
• Proficiency with AI productivity tools: integrated coding agents and AI tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot) into your workflow in a way that meaningfully increases output.
• 0→1 product mindset: experience building products from scratch, comfortable with ambiguity, scoping MVPs, and iterating quickly based on real client feedback.
