• • Own product problems end to end—from framing to prototype to production—without waiting for specifications or approvals.
• • Ship working software in days or weeks, not quarters; prioritize shipping imperfect solutions over polishing unshipped ones.
• • Directly engage with customers to gather feedback, iterate rapidly, and ship the next version without intermediaries.
• • Use AI-native workflows as your default: agentic coding, rapid prototyping, and AI tooling to accelerate development speed beyond conventional teams.
• • Build with TypeScript, React, Node, and AWS; prioritize speed of ramp-up over existing stack familiarity.
• • Make product, design, and scope decisions autonomously, owning the outcomes—including mistakes—without committee approval.
• • Narrow incomplete briefs yourself and move forward without waiting for clarity from others.
• • Be measured by impact and shipped outcomes, not tickets closed or hours logged.
• • Have shipped something from 0 to 1: independently built and launched a product, tool, or feature with full ownership.
• • Demonstrate experience as a founder, indie builder, or early-stage employee with outsized scope—not as a coordinator of others’ work.
• • Run toward new domains, unfamiliar stacks, or hard problems with hunger and no fear of uncertainty.
• • Build tooling or workflows to increase personal velocity, and be able to show tangible examples of how you’ve accelerated your own output.
• • Maintain a strong point of view on what constitutes great B2B SaaS or cybersecurity product experiences.
• • Have lived in early-stage environments where systems don’t exist yet and you must create them to make progress.
• • Care deeply about human risk and cybersecurity as a mission, not just as a market opportunity.
• • Converge with the team’s AI tooling standards after arriving, while bringing your own proven methods to the table.
• • Operate with autonomy, not authority: respect boundaries of ownership while driving your own initiatives forward.
• • Maintain a high quality bar for what you ship, guided by judgment, not process.
• • Work remotely from Ireland, UK, or Portugal; Portugal-based candidates may optionally work hybrid from the Lisbon office.
• • Contribute to shaping how the Adaptive Defence team builds AI-native products from day zero.
• • Ship products that set the next standard in cybersecurity, backed by SoSafe’s existing customer base and distribution.
• • Work in a lean, senior team with no politics, no design-by-committee, and no waiting on other teams.
• • Use frontier LLMs daily as standard tools, not as budget-restricted resources.
