📋 Description

• Lead and define the AI research agenda for 1mind’s vertical post-training models in sales and GTM domains, driving innovation that directly impacts revenue-generating AI agents.
• Own the end-to-end research lifecycle — from exploratory experimentation to production deployment — shaping how AI agents understand and improve human sales interactions.
• Join a pioneering applied research team at a Series A startup deploying live multimodal Superhumans in enterprise environments, working directly with the CTO to build a world-class research organization.
• Advance your expertise in cutting-edge post-training techniques (RLHF, DPO, reward modeling) using real-world buyer interaction data, with freedom to publish, lead a team, and influence product strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in machine learning research or applied AI, with at least 1–2 years focused on post-training techniques such as RLHF, DPO, reward modeling, or alignment.
• Deep technical fluency in LLM training pipelines, fine-tuning methodologies, and evaluation frameworks for large language models.
• Demonstrated ability to transition research from exploration to production-grade systems deployed in real-world environments.
• Strong product intuition to identify where research creates tangible business value and prioritize initiatives accordingly.
• Based in or willing to relocate to San Francisco, CA.
