- • As an AI Solutions Consultant on the Zip AI team, you will be instrumental in bringing AI-powered automation to life for our enterprise clients. This is a highly technical and customer-facing role where you will serve as the primary technical partner, guiding clients through the design, development, and deployment of sophisticated AI agents. Your expertise will transform how their procurement, finance, and operations teams function, automating critical processes from invoice processing to intricate contract reviews and beyond.
- • You will engage directly with procurement, finance, and operations leaders, understanding their unique challenges and translating them into actionable AI solutions. This involves architecting robust agent workflows, meticulously optimizing prompts for maximum efficacy, and seamlessly integrating these agents into complex existing technology stacks. Your journey with each customer will span from initial discovery and technical deep dives to successful deployment and strategic expansion of AI capabilities.
- • This role demands a unique blend of deep technical acumen and strategic customer engagement. You will be at the forefront of innovation, working with a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries and company stages. - • **Key Responsibilities and Impact:**
- • **Trusted Technical Advisor:** Partner closely with Sales and Customer Success teams to thoroughly understand customer requirements. Translate these needs into effective technical solutions, acting as a trusted advisor throughout the entire customer lifecycle, from initial evaluation and proof-of-concept to full deployment and ongoing expansion.
- • **Solution Design & Architecture:** Lead in-depth technical discovery sessions to meticulously map existing customer workflows. Identify key areas ripe for automation and design scalable, efficient AI agent architectures that demonstrably deliver measurable business value and ROI.
- • **AI Agent Development & Optimization:** Take ownership of building and refining AI agents. This includes configuring complex workflows, crafting and iteratively improving prompts for optimal performance, and fine-tuning agent behavior to precisely meet specific customer requirements and business objectives.
- • **Integration Expertise:** Drive the integration of Zip AI agents with a wide array of customer systems. This encompasses ERPs, Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) systems, ticketing platforms, Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) tools, and other critical procurement technologies, leveraging middleware and iPaaS platforms.
- • **End-to-End Implementation Management:** Manage the entire implementation process from start to finish. This involves detailed requirements scoping, clear documentation of technical architecture, rigorous testing of configurations, proactive troubleshooting of any issues, and ensuring seamless, successful go-lives for all deployed solutions.
- • **Customer Enablement & Self-Sufficiency:** Empower customer teams with the knowledge and skills necessary to effectively manage and continuously improve their deployed AI agents. Foster confidence and build long-term self-sufficiency within client organizations.
- • **Product Feedback & Insights:** Actively gather critical insights from customer deployments regarding AI agent usage, identify emerging trends and patterns in AI adoption, and deliver structured, actionable feedback to the Product and Engineering teams to inform future roadmap development and enhance the Zip platform.

🎯 Requirements
- • 5+ years of experience in technical customer-facing roles such as Solutions Architect, Solutions Engineer, Technical Consultant, or Implementation Engineer.
- • Hands-on experience building or deploying AI/LLM-powered solutions, with a working understanding of functional LLM fundamentals and prompt engineering.
- • Strong technical credibility, with the ability to lead architectural discussions, navigate complex integration challenges, and build trust with technical stakeholders.
- • Experience with middleware platforms, iPaaS tools, or integration architecture; comfortable working with REST APIs, webhooks, and various authentication protocols.
- • Track record of successfully managing enterprise customer engagements and delivering implementations in fast-paced environments.
- • Excellent communication skills, capable of translating complex technical concepts into clear, understandable terms for non-technical stakeholders across procurement, finance, and operations.
- • Extreme attention to detail and a relentless focus on achieving positive customer outcomes.
- • Nice-to-have: Experience with agent-building tools (e.g., n8n, Glean) or familiarity with MCP (Model Context Protocol).
- • Nice-to-have: Background in ERP, P2P, CLM, or procurement systems.
