Full Job Description
đź“‹ Description
- • As an AI Solutions Strategist at Ramp Business Corporation, you will sit at the intersection of customers, AI delivery, and core product teams, partnering with enterprise/strategic customers to deeply understand their finance workflows—especially corporate finance and controllership priorities like close, controls, and spend governance—identify high-impact opportunities for AI and automation, and translate those needs into clear problem statements, solution designs, and actionable feedback for Ramp’s Product, Engineering, and Go-to-Market teams.
- • Day to day, you will discover and diagnose customer needs by running stakeholder interviews and workflow deep dives with Finance, Procurement, AP, and IT teams; map end-to-end processes to pinpoint the 'why' behind pain points; identify where AI can create leverage; translate qualitative input into crisp requirements (problem statements, success metrics, constraints, acceptance criteria); define deployment plans balancing speed, safety, and scalability; partner with technical teams to implement AI-powered workflows; support evaluation of models and prompts against customer-specific edge cases; synthesize learnings into reusable patterns and product opportunities; write high-signal briefs for Product and Engineering; present status, outcomes, and recommendations to operators and executives; quantify impact (time saved, error reduction, improved compliance, faster close); and create simple narratives, demos, and artifacts that make AI workflows understandable and trustworthy.
- • You will join a high-agency, high-urgency culture at Ramp, where everyone is a builder who owns problems end to end and makes consequential decisions that shape outcomes. Ramp is building the smart infrastructure for finance teams, embedded in the transaction flow of every dollar a business spends, automating how over $200B in annualized spend flows in and out of 70,000+ companies. The median Ramp customer saves 5% and grows revenue 16% in their first year—far in excess of businesses operating without Ramp.
- • In this role, you will learn to structure ambiguity, turn on-the-ground learnings into scalable solutions, and drive feedback loops into Ramp’s core product. You will develop expertise in translating finance requirements into system design, partnering with finance system owners to drive change management and successful rollouts, and advocating for scalable solutions that reduce custom work over time—all while working closely with engineers and AI builders to ship real customer impact.
