- • As an AML Analyst at Column, you will play a critical role in protecting the bank and its customers from financial crimes such as money laundering, fraud, terrorist financing, and sanctions violations by conducting L1 triage investigations of transaction monitoring alerts and referrals.
- • Your day-to-day responsibilities will include performing in-depth investigations into suspicious activity, documenting findings per FINCEN/FFIEC and bank procedures, preparing escalation and dismissal narratives, maintaining organized records of financial crimes activities, and ensuring compliance with safe and sound banking practices.
- • You will join Column’s Financial Crimes team, a mission-driven group dedicated to safeguarding the U.S. financial system by building a modern, transparent, and efficient banking infrastructure that eliminates legacy complexities in the financial services stack.
- • This role offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience across diverse fintech use cases and customer flows, deepen your expertise in AML/BSA/OFAC compliance, and accelerate your career in financial crimes prevention within a fast-growing, innovative fintech bank.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent experience performing investigations for a regulated financial institution
- • 2+ years of experience with BSA/AML and OFAC laws and regulations
- • Detail-oriented with excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
- • Knowledge of AML typologies and red flags
- • Experience preparing and documenting financial crimes investigations in accordance with FFIEC expectations
- • CAMS certification preferred, but not required
