- • As a Senior/Staff Analog Design Engineer at Olix USA Inc., you will contribute to the development of high-speed SerDes and mixed-signal subsystems for a next-generation SoC, playing a critical role in advancing AI infrastructure through the OLIX Decode Accelerator 1 (DX-1), which addresses a growing global demand for faster, more efficient hardware.
- • Day to day, you will architect and design high-speed SerDes blocks (serializers, TX drivers, TIAs, CTLEs, CDRs, deserializers, and clock generation) from specification through silicon in advanced FinFET nodes, perform schematic and post-layout simulations (including EM-IR and reliability), run EM simulations for passives and interconnects, develop behavioral and Verilog-A models, supervise mask designers, collaborate with optical/digital/system teams, and support post-silicon bring-up and lab validation.
- • You will join a highly collaborative, in-office team in Austin, TX, working closely with local cross-functional teams and partnering with engineers in London and Bristol to drive coordinated global execution on cutting-edge mixed-signal IC design for next-generation AI accelerators.
- • In this role, you will deepen your expertise in high-speed signaling, advanced FinFET process nodes, and full-chip analog/mixed-signal design flow, while gaining end-to-end ownership from circuit implementation to post-silicon validation, positioning you as a technical leader in SerDes design for AI hardware innovation.
🎯 Requirements
- • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of analog/mixed-signal IC design experience.
- • Strong analog mixed-signal design background with hands-on SerDes experience at data rates of 25 Gbps or higher.
- • Proficiency with Cadence Virtuoso, Spectre, and industry-standard simulation flows including PVT, Monte Carlo, EM-IR, and reliability analysis.
- • Experience developing behavioral and Verilog-A models for mixed-signal verification.
- • Familiarity with post-silicon bring-up, lab measurement equipment, and correlating measured data to simulation.
- • Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across analog, digital, optical, and system teams.
