- • Perform day-to-day accounting entries in NetSuite ERP, including Journal Entries, Accruals, Prepayments, and Provisions.
- • Maintain General Ledger (GL) hygiene and ensure accurate and timely ledger postings.
- • Process vendor invoices, payments, and employee expense reimbursements in accordance with internal controls.
- • Support month-end and year-end financial close processes by preparing required documentation and reconciliations.
- • Conduct rigorous reconciliations including bank reconciliations, intercompany reconciliations, GL reconciliations, and vendor/customer account reconciliations.
- • Record and reconcile monthly payroll entries, ensuring proper accounting treatment and compliance with internal policies.
- • Assist in statutory, tax, and internal audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
- • Support GST and TDS filings, including reconciliation activities to ensure accuracy and compliance with Indian tax regulations.
- • Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) and internal control frameworks across all finance operations.
- • Utilize MS Excel for data analysis, including lookup formulas, pivot tables, and financial reconciliations.
- • Collaborate cross-functionally with finance and operations teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
- • Maintain accurate records for all finance-related transactions and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- • Support the finance operations team in identifying process improvements and implementing control enhancements.
- • Work within a Chartered Accountant firm or finance operations environment to deliver high-quality, audit-ready outputs.
- • Apply working knowledge of core accounting concepts including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Payroll, and expense accounting.
- • Ensure all financial activities align with Indian tax compliance requirements, particularly GST and TDS regulations.
- • Contribute to continuous improvement of finance operations through attention to detail and proactive issue resolution.
🎯 Requirements
- • 1–2 years of relevant experience working in a Chartered Accountant firm or finance operations role
- • B.Com graduate or Semi-Qualified CA
- • Hands-on experience with a standard ERP system (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, Tally, or similar)
- • Strong proficiency in MS Excel, including lookup formulas, pivot tables, and data reconciliations
- • Working knowledge of Indian tax regulations (GST & TDS) and financial compliance processes
- • Good written and verbal communication skills with ability to collaborate across functions
