- • Conduct scoping and consultation calls with clients, partners, and internal stakeholders to assess incident response needs and define engagement parameters.
- • Draft scoping documents, proposals, pricing quotes, and contractual materials to support client acquisition and retention efforts.
- • Manage a dedicated case load independently, overseeing the full lifecycle of Digital Forensics and Incident Response (DFIR) engagements from initiation through delivery.
- • Utilize forensic tools, Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) platforms such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, and Huntress, along with threat intelligence and dark web scraping tools to support investigations.
- • Extract, review, and analyze log data and digital evidence to identify forensic indicators of compromise, data exposure, and security vulnerabilities.
- • Assist in the preparation of forensic reports and other case work products, ensuring accuracy and clarity for internal teams and external clients.
- • Support Threat Actor engagements by applying knowledge of threat intelligence frameworks, including MITRE ATT&CK, to contextualize adversary behavior.
- • Collaborate with the business development team on account management tasks including client reporting, quarterly reviews, and contracting processes.
- • Use internal systems to analyze operational trends and market insights that inform business development strategies and service enhancements.
- • Ensure client satisfaction through proactive communication, timely delivery of deliverables, and constructive feedback on forensic findings and risk recommendations.
- • Remain current with evolving trends in cybersecurity, privacy compliance, data breach notification requirements, and insurance frameworks to enhance service delivery.
- • Contribute to continuous process and tooling improvements by researching industry developments and recommending innovations to optimize DFIR operations.
- • Communicate technical findings to both technical and non-technical audiences, translating complex forensic results into actionable business insights.
- • Work flexibly across time zones to accommodate client needs outside standard banking hours, including evenings and weekends as required.
- • Participate in up to 10% travel for client meetings, site assessments, or team engagements, as directed by management.
🎯 Requirements
- • Bachelor’s degree in cybersecurity, digital forensics, or a technology-related field (exceptional related experience may be accepted in lieu of degree)
- • Experience with EDR tools such as SentinelOne, CrowdStrike, or Huntress
- • Experience with incident response, project management, and legal compliance
- • Ability to work flexible hours, including outside standard banking hours
